The Cardigan Centre
Our regular sessons are now in the Cardigan Centre. Its really nice. Not far from campus and in the heart of the student capital, Hyde Park, it boasts ample space for all your practice needs, and has a grimey pub just round the corner (where we usually end up...).

Getting there by foot
All depends where you start really...
- From the Union Building.
The Cardigan Centre is a pleasant fifteen minute walk from the union building, and really easy to get to. Pretty much straight on untill you cant go straight anymore, then left. From the front entrance, turn left up Lifton Place and walk toward the corner of hyde park, continue straight on, past the set of lights, along Moorland Road, with the business school on your left and hyde park on your right. Stay on that Moorland Road to the other side of the park . Keep going across the Juncton and down Royal Park Road. Carry on to the end of this road passing the Royal Park Pub and the Mosque on the left. At the junction with Cardigan Lane, turn left, down the hill. We're just oposite the Builders Yard, on your left hand side. Its pretty inconspicuous, but its bigger on the inside. Use the mapmaker with 'LS2 9' as your start point to see what I mean (you don't need the two last letters).

By Foot - directions from Leeds Train Station
The University campus is about twenty minute walk from Leeds city station, through the historic centre of Leeds city. Come out of the station into City square; with the Queens Hotel behind you, walk straight up Park Row, which is right in front of you, and boasts a load of highstreet banks and a Wagamamas. Continue up Park Row until the first major junction, The Headrow. Turn right and walk along The Headrow, past the Light shopping centre on your left. At the end of The Light centre turn left up Woodhouse Lane. Follow this road up, passing Morrisons supermarket on your right, Leeds Metropolitan University on your left - and the Dry Dock boat pub on an island on your right! The University campus begins in another 50 metres or so on your left. To reach the Parkinson building, carry on up Woodhouse Lane to the massive clocktower building, otherwise known as "Parkie". Once at the Parkie clock tower, walk through the gates to the left and walk on toward the main area of the campus. Take a left down the steps towards a fountain, where you'll find the sports centre!
By Bus
Alternitvley there is a now a completely free bus service running every few minutes, except Sundays, linking the University and other key city locations. This drops off at the southern end of campus, so please allocate an extra 10 minutes to your journey if visiting the main campus.More details are available at http://www.mymetro.com/
