| After the success of the ’07 convention we are pleased to announce that we’ll be hosting the Leeds Juggling Convention 2008! Enjoyed last year by over 250 Jugglers, Diabolists, Spinners and Unicyclers the Leeds convention is being held on December 6th and is the finale of the U.K. convention season, so is a great chance to meet up before Christmas. Hosted on campus in the universities sports centre there is ample air conditioned space for over 400 people and with plenty of facilities on campus such as The Old Bar, Essentials and the Refectory you’ll be able to grab a drink or a bite to eat near by. Whether you’re a professional or a novice there will be plenty of games and workshops to keep you entertained, and children under 11 get in free. Along with the usual games and prize giving, we’ll also be having a unicycle tour around the university, and as it’s December why not take part in our secret Santa? Bring a gift worth no more than £1 or £2 and you’ll be given a ticket for a massive prize giving session at the end of the day |

Workshops Convention workshops are a fantastic oppertunity to pin down thoese tricks you just cant seem to do, or see new tricks close up, and wouldn't be possible with out workshop leaders. So if you'd like to run a workshop for about 30 minuites or more please post your details in the forums so we can find seperate spaces to hold them. You dont have to be an expert to run a workshop as there are people of all different skill levels who want to learn new tricks. You can find our forum here | |
